Dana & Steve | Troy Engagement Session

With summer looming here in Michigan (it’s finally warming up, yay!), I was reviewing any engagement sessions I may have missed sharing last year and found that I totally didn’t share Dana and Steve’s Troy engagement session last fall!

We started out at a small park (aka hidden photography gem) behind Woodside Church. I don’t usually ever recommend wearing loud prints, but Dana literally rocked that dress! She completely pulled it off and I loved it! It’s a good example of one partner wearing something a little bolder and the other wearing something more neutral.

Dana and Steve were naturals in front of the camera. We spent a great deal of the session laughing! Dana’s daughters were there as her personal stylists which made my job easy-peasy.

Football is really important to these two because Steve is a football coach at Troy Athens. Naturally, they wanted to incorporate this into their photos! I always recommend incorporating a place or theme that’s important to you as a couple. So we headed right to the field where Steve coaches on for some more photos!

Their July 20 wedding is approaching quickly (just about two months away as I write this) and I’m excited to capture their big day at Club Venetian in Madison Heights.
