When I met Abby and Justin back in the spring, I knew that photographing their wedding would not only be super fun, but also super beautiful. These two have a beautiful love story and I think their ceremony really encapsulated that. I think the most emotional moment of the day was when Abby read vows to Harper, Justin’s daughter. I was moved by her love for Harper and it was a special moment I’m sure Harper will remember forever.  A close second was Justin’s reaction when Harper and then Abby walked down the aisle. If I wasn’t snapping away, I probably would have been crying too, let’s be honest.

I had never been to Oak Openings Metropark down in the Toledo, Ohio area, but let me tell you, have your small weddings here. Not only was it super casual/simple, but super chic and it provided beautiful woods for photos. Also, Abby and her maids got ready in a little cabin and I was kind of obsessed. Hotel rooms are popular and great, but man, something about a cozy little cabin just made the detail and getting ready shots all the better. I loved the casual, laid back feel of the whole event…definitely more my vibe if you know me — I got married at a brewery!
