Korrie and Zack were one of the first couples to book me when I started advertising my business and it was a long wait for their 2018 wedding back in early 2017! Their Canton Michigan wedding was full of fun and a special day that had been a long time coming for both of them.
You may remember their fall engagement session, where they took me to two very special spots, including the spot of their first date at EG Nick’s in Plymouth. I love when couples take me to places that matter to them; I think the photos are all the more special.
Korrie and Zack are so sweet together and they made a gorgeous bride and groom. We were worried all week about bad weather, but for all of our portraits, the weather completely cleared and we even got some sunshine. We started with a first look (highly recommended everyone!) which was completely private, and then did bridal party photos around the First Baptist Church of Canton.
After a heartfelt, simple ceremony, we headed to Joy Manor for the reception (it started raining right as we pulled out of the parking lot). What a dance floor at this reception! The father of the bride knew how to get down! I love it when everyone celebrates the couple on their big day.
From the bride: “I had the pleasure of using Madalyn as our photographer for our engagement and wedding photos. She is overall just amazing! It was refreshing to see a photographer that understood the creativity and style of shots that we were looking for on our special day. Very supportive and proactive during the entire time of our wedding day, which was a huge help! I mean, HUGE! My husband isn’t very comfortable in front of a camera (in general) AT ALL. But, Madalyn made it very comfortable for the both of us. I’ve already recommended my friends and family to her! I can’t wait to see the rest of our wedding photos as our sneak peek already looks AMAZING! Can’t wait to do more sessions with her in the future!”
