What. A. Year. I can’t thank my clients enough f What. A. Year. I can’t thank my clients enough for another incredible year of business. Seven years ago this past weekend, I shot my first wedding and I never imagined I would be here over a hundred weddings and hundreds of sessions later, surviving a pandemic and becoming a mother to two littles. This year we added a baby (so sorry to my two lovely July wedding couples that don’t have behind the scenes videos in this compilation), and I tried to find more of a balance. I took on less work, which was hard to do after years of hustle. I think it worked. Looking back I feel more balanced than I did the last two seasons as a mom. It’s hard to be a parent in this industry, heck it’s hard just to maintain any friendship or relationship when you’re the one working on nights and weekends. But I decided that I would stop comparing a start doing what feels right to me, for me, which is why I wanted to work for myself in the first place. I’ll be signing off biz duties until the new year this weekend. One of the perks of deciding not to take on weddings or sessions during the holiday. 💯 Can’t wait to see what 2024 has in store for us 🍾 PS - I’m so appreciative to my assistant Amanda (@amicucciandco) for almost all of these incredible behind the scenes videos. Having her work alongside me has really changed wedding days for me in the best way possible. She is a gem ♥️
