Kicking off wedding season is always a treat, but it was a special treat when I got to photograph Lauren and Sean’s Northville Hills Golf Club wedding! These two are such a fun, chill, down to earth couple and their wedding day was no different.

When I met Lauren and Sean for their engagement session, I knew that we would have a fun time together on the wedding day. I was referred to Lauren by not one, but at least TWO different people, which honestly makes me feel like a million bucks!

Northville Hills Golf Club weddings have an outdoor ceremony space and indoor reception space that are connected, making it easy for guests to use both spaces. The ceremony space overlooks a beautiful pond. Lauren and Sean had perfect weather for their wedding day – lots of sunshine and warmth. We even got the most perfect golden hour for this Northville Hills Golf Club wedding and it was easy to just head out to the grassy area behind the ceremony spot to take some photos.

My favorite part? Lauren’s change of shoes for the dance floor! In fact, Lauren is the type of bride who knew she would definitely be dancing. As I was getting ready to leave, I found her in the bridal suite getting her “party pony” situated. LOVE THAT!

Lauren and Sean were adamant about ENJOYING their wedding guests so we planned a timeline that made sure to get all of the photos done pre-ceremony. This way, they got to spend pretty much all of their Northville Hills Golf Club wedding with their friends and family – which I think is the entire point of weddings!

The dance floor of this Northville Hills Golf Club wedding was POPPIN’. It’s always fun to watch everyone from the flower girl to grandma GET DOWN.
