Shawna and Victor’s summer Sylvania Country Club wedding was a round two wedding for them – they had previously had a small ceremony on their original wedding date in October 2020. This was the big wedding day, complete with all of their family and friends.
One of my favorite aspects of this day was Shawna’s dress. Wow! It was so beautiful! Absolutely stunning honestly. I also just loved this big window in the venue – it felt very castle-like with the glass and the chandelier.
Everyone got ready on site, which made it super easy. I love when everything is all in one place. After a first look, we took photos with the couple and the wedding party around the venue. The first look gave us plenty of time to get all the photos in without rushing. It was a warm August day with plenty of sunshine. The Sylvania Country Club wedding continued with a ceremony overlooking the golf course.
The reception kicked off with a cocktail hour, and the couple shared a first dance after dinner. They were able to finally dance with their parents as well. I loved Shawna’s dance with her dad – so much energy and emotion at the same time.
These two got the best sunset for their summer Sylvania Country Club wedding. Usually golf clubs have great spots for sunset photos – probably the best of any venue. These two got a primo sunset – couldn’t have asked for a better one myself!
With the pandemic, I was able to work with couples for longer than normal, and honestly more often than usual. It wasn’t the best circumstance, but I’m so glad I got to capture both of Shawna and Victor’s wedding days.
