Sweet baby Jack! He is now so big as these lifestyle newborn photos were taken back in June, but he was the sweetest baby! This Shelby Township newborn photographer loved meeting this brand new family of four in their home for an in-home newborn session. This crew was referred to me by another one of my newborn clients — and referrals always make for the best clients!

It’s kind of amazing how second born children always seem chiller than working with a first born baby. Don’t get me wrong – all babies cry at some point during their session and I’ve yet to have one sleep the entire time – but second children must be used to the chaos a little more than only children. I’m not an expert by any means!

Jack didn’t open his eyes much until the end of our session, which was perfect for his solo shots! I really love just having baby in a simple onesie and swaddle. For Jack, we mostly just used the onesie because he was being so chill and he’s a summer baby!
