Sweet fall babies – there are always so many of them! Summer was just the cutest little bean for her Livonia at home newborn session. She was wide awake and alert until we wrapped her up and got her super sleepy. I loved the pink outfit her mom chose for her! It went perfectly in her neutral light-filled room.

Newborns are so lovely to photograph at home. I have nothing against studio sessions (and offer them to those who’d rather not have me at their home) but something about photographing your family right where life happens seems all the more sweeter. I always bring plenty of wraps, tie-backs and a few props for solo shots of baby, but really the space and subjects are what makes the session.

This Livonia at-home newborn session included a few appearances by Summer’s pet family. She is going to have so much fun growing up with them!
