Andrea and Chris’s fall Indian Springs Discovery Center wedding was the perfect fall day in Michigan. These two Floridians chose to marry at the Indian Springs Discovery Center because Andrea grew up in the area and they loved the outdoor amenities. The even honeymooned after the wedding at national parks!

Andrea and Chris were a bit of a late booking for me – they reached out in June for their October date – which I surprisingly had open. I had worked at Indian Springs before back in 2019 and absolutely loved it, wanting to go back! After meeting these two, who are truly two of the sweetest people, I knew I wanted to be a part of their day!

These two met in graduate school in Massachusetts in 2017 and eventually moved to Florida, where Chris is from and where they work in behavior analysis. Their love of the outdoors, nature, and the beautiful fall weather is what lead them to a Michigan fall Indian Springs Discovery Center wedding.

This day was a little more on the traditional side – not opting for a first look and instead going the traditional down the aisle route. Chris’s reaction was one of the sweetest of 2025. Their personal vows were just lovely to witness. Perhaps the best guest was the weather – it was an absolutely stunning day, complete with a golden yummy light. We were even able to get in a photo with everyone at the wedding – which was such a treat!

A fall Indian Springs Discovery Center wedding has no shortage of photographic spots! Indian Springs has both foilage, water, and gravel paths with tall grass. But Andrea and Chris were most excited for a chance to take photos in the underground tunnel which goes under the pond. It makes for such cool images!

I can’t begin to say how lovely it was to be a part of Andrea and Chris’s fall Indian Springs Discovery Center wedding – a true pleasure and the reason I keep doing this job!
