I am not an alumni of a Big 10 school. I went to a small liberal arts school. So it always amazes me to visit a large campus filled with thousands and thousands of students. It also amazes me that of thousands of students, Trevor and Jamie met while living in the same dorm, which we visited during their fall Michigan State University engagement session.

Trevor and Jamie are the third couple that have booked me after their friends. Trevor was a groomsmen in Kelsey and Ryan’s wedding last June. They all attend the same church.

When these two booked me a year ago, last January, they told me they definitely wanted a fall Michigan State University engagement session. And the campus did not disappoint. I hate to say it, Michigan fans, but this campus was so freaking pretty in the fall. It was the first time I had been on campus in a very long time and Trevor and Jamie showed me all of their old haunts, including that dorm where they met.

The one request Jamie had was to get some of the old light posts in the photos and we ended our night with one of my favorite shots of the whole session. Make sure to scroll all the way to the end to see it!

I can’t tell you how excited I am for their wedding this May. I know they have been waiting and planning a long time for it and I’m honored to be a part of it. These two are so much fun to spend time with and I know it’s going to be an amazing day!
