The summertime seems like a million years ago to most midwestern towns this time of year. I know sunshine and humidity will return soon enough and we’ll all be complaining about melting. Last September, I met up with Cory and Brian in downtown Rochester for a fun time hanging out, I mean shooting their engagement session at Rochester Municipal Park.

Joshua actually referred Brian and Cory to me! Brian and Josh play board games together and after I met Cory for coffee last August, I knew I would love working with them! Cory and I had a lot to talk about — we are both English majors and share a lot of the same interests!

For their engagement session, these two got the yummiest golden hour September light…something that evaded me A LOT in fall 2018. We spent some time traversing Rochester Municipal Park, which is a favorite of mine for sessions, and then moved to my super secret spot by the river, and finished at Red Knapp’s for milkshakes! Love when we get to do something a little different for sessions!

Cory and Brian are so sweet together and we spent a lot of the session laughing! I can’t wait for their October wedding at Indian Springs Metropark!
