The most perfect way to kick off a six week crazy wedding sprint for me was Sabrina and Brad’s summer Saint John’s Resort wedding! Full of elegance and the timeless classic black and white color scheme, this beautiful day was chic and so much fun to capture.

Sabrina was a bridesmaid for and the cousin of a 2021 bride of mine, Marisa. I was so honored when Sabrina reached out right after her engagement to book me for her wedding day! Sabrina had a VISION for this day and she worked so hard to plan and execute it – hitting it right out of the park.

I rarely know what a bride’s wedding dress will look like prior to the wedding day, and that was the case with this summer Saint John’s Resort wedding. When I walked in to see this super chic, elegant high-necked dress, I was OBSESSED. Of course I love a ballgown as much as the next girl but getting to photograph a different cut of dress was so much fun. The open back was truly **chef’s kiss**.

Sabrina and Brad have so much fun together and spent a lot of the day laughing. We started with a first look in the sunny courtyard and then did portraits with them and their party on the property. Saint John’s resort is no stranger to me, and I love the new additions they’re adding to their venue, though there truly is no place like the Saint John’s Chapel – just so very gorgeous and timeless!

This summer Saint John’s Resort wedding had a packed dance floor – the best way to end the night!
