As the leaves turned vibrant shades of red and gold, love was in the crisp autumn air at Creekside Acres Barn in Goodrich, Michigan. Nestled amidst the picturesque trees, Devan and Adam exchanged vows in a celebration that perfectly captured the essence of the season. It indeed was a tad chilly for this Creekside Acres wedding but Devan and Adam were still ready to get married and have a good time!
From the moment guests arrived, they were greeted by the charming ambiance of the rustic barn venue. Devan is a very low-key bride and I’m here for it. She wore comfortable shoes, minimal makeup and she truly looked like herself which I loved. Her bridesmaids were all in green but chose their own dresses.
One thing very important to Devan and Adam is their dogs – which appeared at the wedding ceremony – and for their engagement photos earlier in the year.
Against the backdrop of the changing foliage, the couple exchanged heartfelt vows. Following the ceremony, guests gathered for a cocktail hour while we took wedding party and couples photos outside. As evening descended, everyone moved inside the barn for a reception filled with laughter, delicious food, and dancing.
A highlight of the evening was honestly the reception dancing! Devan and Adam’s friends and family came for a party and they sure partied! Devan’s brother-in-law even treated everyone to his rendition of “Bust a Move.” It was one of the most memorable moments I’ve ever had at a wedding.
As the evening drew to a close at this Creekside Acres wedding, Devan and Adam bid farewell to their loved ones under a shower of sparklers, setting off into the night as husband and wife.
