As the crisp autumn breeze swirled around the Pine Knob Mansion in Clarkston, Michigan, love was in the air for Bree and Logan on their special fall Pine Knob Mansion wedding day. Nestled amidst the vibrant hues of fall foliage, the historic mansion provided the perfect backdrop for their enchanting wedding celebration.
When met Bree and Logan at their engagement session the summer before their wedding, I just knew their wedding would be tons of fun. They are two down to earth, lovely engineers who seriously love one another – and they photograph so well. I also love the Pine Knob Mansion – historic homes really do it for the history nerd in me. Choosing Pine Knob Mansion as their wedding venue was a natural decision for the couple, as they were captivated by its timeless elegance and breathtaking surroundings.
The best getting ready suite in town is at the Pine Knob Mansion. With windows that surround the room, it’s a truly stunning spot to get your wedding dress on. Bree’s mom helped her into her gown before she saw her dad for an emotional first look.
One of my favorite things about this wedding was the colors – from the bridesmaids’ hues of green to the florals (all done by Logan’s aunt!!), the colors were just perfect. We didn’t have a ton of fall color for this wedding day but that didn’t matter!
Surrounded by their closest friends and family, Bree and Logan exchanged heartfelt vows in a touching ceremony. Logan’s uncle officiated their ceremony perfectly.
It was actually a chilly day in October, so the guests weren’t able to mingle outdoors for cocktail hour, but everyone huddled inside for signature drinks and lively music. Inside the mansion’s ballroom, tables were adorned with centerpieces of seasonal flowers and table numbers with Logan and Bree’s photo at that age.
The evening continued with delicious cuisine and heartfelt speeches, weaving together moments of love, laughter, and nostalgia. As the night drew to a close, Bree and Logan stole away for a quiet moment alone, reflecting on the beauty of their day and the journey that brought them to this magical moment.
This fall Pine Knob Mansion wedding had the absolute best dessert – a Coldstone Creamery cart! Everyone was treated to a yummy Coldstone sundae as they got down on the dance floor. How sweet!
