I’m finally digging out of my busy season and getting back on the blogging train! I have been shooting almost non-stop since June so I’ve got so many lovely seasons to share with you all. Let’s start with Geralyn and Chris, who are getting married tomorrow (!!!) as I write this.

Geralyn and Chris are not only freaking adorable but also my kind of people. They love to laugh together and they are super easy going and laid back. We spent a late July evening hitting up some of my favorite spots in for a downtown Rochester engagement session. From downtown brick walls to a secret spot by the library to Rochester Municipal Park, downtown Rochester is just a great spot to get the best of both worlds, nature and urban.

Believe it or not (because Geralyn is in a sweater) it was very warm for this shoot…like a typical July day. I’m always impressed by the ability of my clients to hide their sweat. Because you know if you’re outside on a late July day in Michigan, you are definitely SWEATING. No matter. Chris kept us laughing the whole time.

Geralyn and Chris have been together a long time (which has been a theme of my couples this year) and I’m so excited that they’re finally tying the knot. Can’t wait to share more images from their wedding at Noah’s Event Venue in Auburn Hills.
